Avon

Overview

No longer famous for its lettuce production, Avon is now considered the heart of the Vail Valley and gateway to Beaver Creek. The new gondola from the Westin Riverfront project will expedite kiers to Beaver Creek mountain. With picturesque Nottingham Lake as the jewel of the town, numerous residential opportunities exist for both locals and second-home buyers. Avon presents wonderful opportunities for residents and visitors. The library, recreation center, parks and playgrounds all give Avon a true community feel while shopping and dining opportunities are plentiful. During the 4th of July, you won’t want to miss Colorado’s largest fireworks display over the lake.
